I will post many of my playlists here. I am often asked where to get some of the songs I play. Some are available through iTunes, some through Amazon, and some through eMusic. My number one recommendation is to try eMusic first. They have a lot of smaller artists and labels and quite a bit of non-mainstream music, like blues and swing. Try eMusic, you'll like it. And it costs a lot less than the others if you are a music lover.

House Party

San Francisco on 2009-03-28 at 1:00-3:00AM

I was invited to a house party in San Francisco through Facebook (actually San Mateo). I put 'maybe' as my RSVP. This led to Anna Fizyta messaging me and asking if I really was considering going. She wanted to get me in to DJ at the party and to DJ her Monday 'Shades of Blues' dance. With stuff going on, at the last minute I decided to cash in some miles and head to San Francisco.

The party was more of a 'turquoise' party. i still am not 100 percent sure what turquoise actually means except the concept of blues dancing to non blues music. Since it would not technically be blues dancing anymore, it is now turquiose :)

I played a mix of blues, hip hop, pop, etc. It seemed to go well enough. I was only supposed to DJ until 2, but no one wanted me to stop.
